About Me

Wife, mother, nurse, Christ-follower: these are all titles I identify with. Mostly I feel like I don't understand what it means to be any of these things. I'm just living, like all of you, moment by moment. Life has caught up with me and I see things less in black and white anymore. I have more questions than answers. There is sorrow, there is disappointment, there is suffering. But there is joy and hope- found in some of the darkest corners. That is what I hope to ultimately write about on this blog: not just my creative outlets and ambitious projects. I want to write about what thoughts are behind the facade of neat and tidy Shannon. I want to write about the glimpses of Christ I see in the metaphors of everyday life. Help me stay honest.
